You know that scene in Elf when Buddy goes into that random restaurant and is like, “You did it! Congratulations! World’s best cup of coffee!” That’s me when I hear that someone owns a Moccamaster. This may be an audacious claim, but since I’m backing it up with proven results from testing the best coffee makers, I’m going on the record to say that this drip coffee maker will brew the most aromatic, complex cup of coffee you’ve ever tasted.
Since it’s widely considered the best coffee maker that money can buy, it should come as no surprise that the Moccamaster usually retails around $300. While that’s a large chunk of change for most of us, right now you can get the Technivorm Moccamaster KBS for just $210 at Drop. If you still think that’s a scary price, many say that the Moccamaster is built to last a lifetime, so just think about how much money you will be saving in the long run on Starbucks. It’s potentially millions of dollars, according to one author.
What’s so great about the Moccamaster, you ask? Well for one, it’s handmade in the Netherlands by Dutch coffee aficionados, so there’s that. And unlike other coffee brewers, the Moccamaster is built with a unique copper heating element as opposed to a standard aluminum one. This means it’s able to brew coffee to an optimal temperature range between 196ºF and 205ºF, which produces a smoother cup of joe compared to other cheaply made machines. It also brews a full 32-ounce pot of coffee in just 4-6 minutes, which is a huge timesaver in the mornings.
My boss, David Kender, loves to rave about how amazing his Moccamaster is. Here’s what he had to say about it: “I’ve owned my Moccamaster for seven years. It’s the single most valuable product purchase I’ve made. Every morning when I take my first sip I say “this is the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had.” Chances are I’ll be saying it tomorrow, too.”
To get the Moccamaster at this fab sale price, all you need to do is sign up for a free account with Drop. Keep in mind that this sale only lasts until Tuesday, June 18th, and Drop only has limited inventory, so if you want to taste the best cup of coffee in the world, you have to act quick. Also note that these Moccamasters have an estimated ship date of July 10th, so the anticipation will build for when you finally get your hands on some perfectly brewed java.
